The long awaited (well long to fans...) Time Riders book 8 is finally here! Secrets will be revealed, and more secrets will be discovered. Tensions rise and friendships waver, will the Time Riders ever be the same again?... A whole new level of mystery, has Pandora developed into something even time cannot control? These are questions, questions, questions, read the book to find answers, answers, answers... 10/10 Remember to post your thoughts in the comments...

The Famous Five adventures with George and Timmy - Enid Blyton

Another FF book review for you today folks! This one isn't like the survival guide though, it's not one, but several mini-stories. The tales are also based when Gorge was a little girl and not in The Famous Five. Ever wondered how George met Timmy, ever pondered on what Georges first mystery was and how she solved it? All of these questions and more are answered in the book... Perfect for younger children who are nearly ready to read The Famous Five, this is a great starter novel... 7/10 Got something to say about this book, why not leave us a comment...

The Famous Fives Survival Guide - Enid Blyton

This is a fantastic book, it's not just a great FF novel, but also an essential survival guide! When the group of five discover that Georges ancestor was involved in a mysterious shipwreck, the next page has loads of information on how to survive a shipwreck! The whole of the book is set out in this way, and sometimes it even gives you a chance to work out clues and parts of the mystery before you read the next page to find it what actually happens... The last part of the mystery is never worked out, so it gives you a chance to do so, when you think you know the answer you can go onto the Famous Fives website and see if your correct! If you are you get a very nice certificate. This is the only way you'll ever get to read this FF novel as it was never published without the addition of the survival guide, so all you mystery fans, this might just be the book for you.. 9/10 Got something to say about this book, why not leave us a comment...

Traces: Final Lap - Malcolm Rose

This was a great read. I first thought that it was the last installment of the Traces series but as I have now found out, it is not the final lap for our favorite forensic investigator as i can confirm; there is another book after this! Yay! The book had quite a few unexpected turns, and I think that a lot of the happening in this book could set up some in the next. We'll have to see if I'm right but if I am then a lot of excitement is o come... 8/10 Got something to say about this book? ell us in the comments...

Quarry - Ally Kennen

It started off well but the stories soul kind of left during the final chapters. Almost like a dementor entered another series of books now that we are back in the Potter mood. (J.K Rowling is currents writing a screenplay adaptation of her book: Fantastical Beasts and where to find them, Review coming soon, watch this space!) So yes, the book made you think about different characters in different ways once you read different parts of the book. Which is quite interesting. Until the book stops suddenly at a dead end in the last few pages. I felt that the ending actually came about in the previous chapter. Like the final chapter would reveal the last piece of the jigsaw, hat told me the point of the book- Only there wasn't one. The last jigsaw piece remained under the sofa, the runner fell on the final sprint, the story for me, remained incomplete.   4/10 Do you think differently to me? What are your thoughts on this novel?...

The Journal of Curious Letters - James Dashner

James Dashner is quite a familiar author to The Olly Book Blog, He won the book of the year award with The Maze Runner which is a YA book, unlike the journal of curious letters, which is written for younger readers in the children to preteen's section. I really enjoyed this book, especially as it is written about a subject that particularly interests me. Brilliant! 9/10 Remember to comments below!

Skulduggery Pleasant: Last Stand of Dead Men - Derek Landy

Derek Landy is back and better than ever before! Okay, the title might be a bit weird for people who haven't read the Skulduggery Pleasant books before but after reading this novel the title will be a lot more understandable. Away from the title and onto the book, I was worried that this would be the last book in the series but no! The next book (title to be released at a later date) is coming in September 2014. So fans, it isn't over, not yet... The story was really good with a different setting to the last ones, I also felt that there were more twists in this book than in any of the others. There is a special gold foil edition of this book at WHSmith in the UK. (There may be WHSmith in other countries but I wouldn't know) 10/10 What do you think about this book? Why not tell us in the comments...
