The Famous Five adventures with George and Timmy - Enid Blyton

Another FF book review for you today folks! This one isn't like the survival guide though, it's not one, but several mini-stories. The tales are also based when Gorge was a little girl and not in The Famous Five. Ever wondered how George met Timmy, ever pondered on what Georges first mystery was and how she solved it? All of these questions and more are answered in the book... Perfect for younger children who are nearly ready to read The Famous Five, this is a great starter novel...

7/10 Got something to say about this book, why not leave us a comment...

Gone - Michael Grant

As thrilling as the Hunger games I'd say! This is an electrifying read! For older children, the gone books in order are: Gone, Hunger, Lies, Plague and Fear. You won't want to put it down, I didn't anyway! Michael Grant is a seriously good author and he also has a new book called bzrk. I rate this fabulous novel 10/10 A fantastic read!

Journey To Jo'burg - Beverley Naidoo

This was a novella My class read in school, and to be perfectly honest; for a fiction book it was very dry and just far too 'non-fiction' for a fiction book. So for me, this book was sadly a no. It had a lot in it for a novella, and I can see why we read it in class, especially for English. But unfortunately it just didn't have that 'humph' if you get what I'm talking about.  3/10 For me this wasn't a fiction it was a non-fiction, despite what the cover says...

Clockwork Angel - Cassandra Clare

This is the best book I've read in a while and I must say I'm quite impressed. I was gripped to the story during the first minute of reading. An amazing plot. An amazing style of writing, I just loved this amazing book!  10/10 I can't wait to read the sequel 'Clockwork Prince'
