Generation Dead - Daniel Waters

This was a fantastic read about the undead or 'differently biotic.' When dead teenagers decide that death just isn't what it's cut out to be, they wake up. It may sound as simple as that but it really isn't, the novel will take you through sadness, hope and friendship. Not a book that should be missed!  A thrilling YA Paranormal by Daniel Waters, and the best part- there's more to come! So stay tuned, stay tuned to The Olly Book Blog...

9/10 Got something on your mind? Something you'd like to say? Well why not say it in the comments!...

Gone - Michael Grant

As thrilling as the Hunger games I'd say! This is an electrifying read! For older children, the gone books in order are: Gone, Hunger, Lies, Plague and Fear. You won't want to put it down, I didn't anyway! Michael Grant is a seriously good author and he also has a new book called bzrk. I rate this fabulous novel 10/10 A fantastic read!

Journey To Jo'burg - Beverley Naidoo

This was a novella My class read in school, and to be perfectly honest; for a fiction book it was very dry and just far too 'non-fiction' for a fiction book. So for me, this book was sadly a no. It had a lot in it for a novella, and I can see why we read it in class, especially for English. But unfortunately it just didn't have that 'humph' if you get what I'm talking about.  3/10 For me this wasn't a fiction it was a non-fiction, despite what the cover says...

Clockwork Angel - Cassandra Clare

This is the best book I've read in a while and I must say I'm quite impressed. I was gripped to the story during the first minute of reading. An amazing plot. An amazing style of writing, I just loved this amazing book!  10/10 I can't wait to read the sequel 'Clockwork Prince'
