Light - Michael Grant

This was a spectacular last book for a spectacular series! The gone books have all led up to this novel, building up anticipation and excitement along the way: and this book was no disappointment because it will blow you away! As a YA thriller this book is definitively for older readers. You can always tell if a series is gripping by seeing if you are sad to leave the story at the end of the last novel, and I was just that. It's like losing a part of you if you are really loving the story and have loved it from the first sentence, and I certainly did. The FAYZ maybe ended but Grants not done with us yet! Because his other books include: The Bzrk series and The Magnificent 12 series. So get reading!

The Blood Stone - Jamila Gavin

This was a great read! A bit confusing at times as it slides from past to present tense regularly. But other than that it is fairly easy to get through. I enjoyed this book because of the adventure and mystery it has in it. 8/10 This was an intriguing read.

The graveyard book - Neil Gaiman

Like ghosts, spirits. Graveyards? Well read the book! Winner of the Carnegie medal 2010 this book is full of mystery. Can young Bod, who has been raised in the graveyard escape the man Jack, who has already killed his family? An irresistible book, deserves to become a modern classic. 7/10 A masterpiece.

The Hobbit - J.R.R Tolkien

The Hobbit is a great prequel to the Lord of the rings trilogy. The new movie is to be released soon after being postponed for ages. The Hobbit will delight many and is an ageless modern classic. If you've not read the Hobbit your missing great works! Although some readers may find it a little confusing at first it's still a great read! With a new movie soon to be released, The Hobbit is now more popular than ever! 8/10 fantastic!
