The Lord Of The Rings - J.R.R. Tolkien

Sorry that I haven't posted for a while, but when you see the title of this review, you'll properly find out why! The book is written very thoroughly with lots of detail and history. Did you know Tolkien even made his own language! I think the books were all good but I especially enjoyed the second one: The Two towers as it is where they really get into the fellowship and it gets a ton more interesting! Not for the light-hearted this book will take you to the limit!

 I will give numbers out of ten for each book... The Fellowship of the Ring: 9/10, The Two Towers: 10/10 and finally, The Return Of the King: 8/10

Wow, congratulations! You're right, LOTR is a HUGE book to finish! I read it waaaay back before the first film came out, but I remember that I LOVED it. I wanted to go and live in Rivendell, and I was terrified of Shelob the giant spider! I'll have to reread The Hobbit soon so that I can watch the movie, I can't wait! :)

The Hobbit is an amazing film, but there is lots of things that the film-makers changed, probably to tie up some loose ends...

 Like ghosts, spirits. Graveyards? Well read the book! Winner of the Carnegie medal 2010 this book is full of mystery. Can young  Bod, who has been raised in the graveyard escape the man Jack, who has already killed his family? An irresistible book, deserves to become a modern classic.  7/10 A masterpiece.

Clockwork Angel - Cassandra Clare

 This is the best book I've read in a while and I must say I'm quite impressed. I was gripped to the story during the first minute of reading. An amazing plot. An amazing style of writing, I just loved this amazing book!  10/10 I can't wait to read the sequel 'Clockwork Prince'
