Seraphina - Rachel Hartman

I have to admit, I too a long time on this novel, a very long time! It took off to a very descriptive and rich start, but then slightly lost it at the middle. It all came together at the end though, with lots and lots of information crammed in at the last few pages. Possibly the longest chapters I've ever read, although the book doesn't look that long at first, it definitively was a huge novel! It also has a little romance and 'History' in it too.

8/10 Stunning.

The Blood Stone - Jamila Gavin

This was a great read! A bit confusing at times as it slides from past to present tense regularly. But other than that it is fairly easy to get through. I enjoyed this book because of the adventure and mystery it has in it. 8/10 This was an intriguing read.

The graveyard book - Neil Gaiman

Like ghosts, spirits. Graveyards? Well read the book! Winner of the Carnegie medal 2010 this book is full of mystery. Can young Bod, who has been raised in the graveyard escape the man Jack, who has already killed his family? An irresistible book, deserves to become a modern classic. 7/10 A masterpiece.

Clockwork Angel - Cassandra Clare

This is the best book I've read in a while and I must say I'm quite impressed. I was gripped to the story during the first minute of reading. An amazing plot. An amazing style of writing, I just loved this amazing book! 10/10 I can't wait to read the sequel 'Clockwork Prince'
